Foal Cover Insurance
We offer insurance cover on foals from 24 hours of age. Cover on foals this young is always subject to a completed foal vet certificate and IGG.
If you insure your foal from 14 days, we only require a current foal vet certificate and not the IGG. We can also insure foals from 30 days old, at which point, depending on the value, we will require either a foal vet certificate or a foal declaration of health.
The equine industry is growing, with more people and businesses investing in horses on a global scale. Across New Zealand, Australia and beyond, there is an increasing need for equine insurance to protect investments against risks such as death or disability due to injury or illness.
